100% recommend for a weekend excursion
Beautiful building, friendly staff, the room was spacious and well-equipped with a comfortable bed, tea and coffee facilities, and a flat-screen TV, making it an ideal spot to relax and recharge after a day of exploring, all conveniently located just a 4-minute drive from the nearest train station.
Nothing I didn't like.

the room was absolutely tiny, like a shoebox, and both divans felt collapsed, leaving me to sleep in a triangle! I also noticed dusty corners, which really added to the charm, haha. Not to mention, I expected a complimentary gesture for these 'unique' experiences but alas, just like my sleep, that dream was shattered.

The historical charm of the building adds a unique touch, making you feel like you've stepped into a different time. The kids' play area is a nice feature, allowing families to unwind while the little ones enjoy themselves.
The food quality varies quite a bit. I hit a few bumps with meals being bland and an overcooked egg served on dry toast, along with complaints about breakfast served too late. Cleanliness in public areas needs attention, as I noticed dirty tables and a lack of upkeep around the stairs. Plus, the noise from a loud water tank after using the toilet disrupts any peace you might find in the otherwise quiet rooms. Limited evening food options also left something to be desired.
